Dollar General W2s

Dollar General is a chain of various stores in the United States. The company offers online w2s access to its current employee. If you are currently not working at Dollar General, please contact Dollar General’s human resource center for assistance. According to the dollar general official website, there are more than 11,500 stores in 40 states with more than 100,000 employees. So if you are a current employee, please follow the direction below to access the original year-end tax information online.

1. To access your 2014 W2 online, go to https://w2.adp.com
2. Click “Register Now.”
3. Key your registration passcode, which is dgme2
4. In the next steps, enter your first name and last name that appear on your pay stubs, your full social security number without dashes, and your birth date.
5. Key your employee ID, the last four digits of your social security number, and year of birth. For example, if your SSN is 123-45-6789, and the year of birth is 1989, then your user ID is 67891989. Enter your company code; the company code for Dollar General is WSU. Zip/postal code, your postal code is the first 5 digits of your home address zip code. Select a tax year.
6. Key your contact information.
7. Select security questions and provide the answer.
8. In the next window, you will see a system generating a User ID. Your user ID will be emailed to the provided email address. It is not case-sensitive. Established a password of your choice. Click “Submit.”
9. At the final steps, you will see Thank you for the registration message. Now view and print your year-end W2.

Update: your W2 statement is on the ADP portal, but you do not need to sign up for the ADP W2 portal. You need to sign in or sign up for the DG me (webapps.dolgen.net/dgme2). This portal is a Service-Now application that allows access to the installed application without login credentials. If you want to access your pay stubs, you have to complete the registration or sign-in process; click here for more information on how to access your pay stub.

    1. HERE IS THE INFO ON HOW TO ACCESS YOUR W2. Shame on Dollar General for making it this difficult, shame on them for leading their employees on a maze with an HR Hotline that was SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED to make them give up and pay the $10 to ADP for a mailed hard-copy (of which I am ~sure~ DG gets a cut).

SHORT ANSWER: If you need help accessing DG Me, call (855)275-3447; Opt #9; Opt #9. You will be on hold for a while, but you will be assisted by a live person who can help you figure out how to access your account. Once you log onto DG-ME (if it has been a year since you worked there, you may have to create a new user account), your W-2 will be downloadable from the homepage. You can print it directly from the document.

Your W-2 will be on http://www.dg.com/dgme. I stopped working for the company 3/17, and I had to create a new account, for whatever reason (by selecting “Register as a New User” at the top Right of the page). You may not have to if you have worked there within the last year.

Your W-2 IS NOT AVAILABLE FROM THE PAYSTUB SITE (Money Network). It is only accessible from http://www.DG.com/dgme

      1. I realize the hot-link doesn’t work, but try typing dg.com/dgme into the address bar and it will redirect you to where you need to go.

        1. I am trying to get my w2 for 2018 printed is there by any chance you can tell me what I need to do

      2. What I don’t understand is that I can go to the page for “Forgot EID” and enter my info and get my ID number, but when I go in and try to login or “forgot password” it tells me my info is invalid. They never mailed my W2 and it is ludicrous to have to pay $10 for something they are legally required to send out… I left them less than a year ago and still cant get anywhere…
