Advocacy protects the interests of an individual, a group of people, or a cause. A person who advocates, argues, recommends, or supports a cause or policy. Advocacy is also about helping people voice their concerns and opinions. There is a lot of talk about advocacy within non-profit organizations. The Arc Macon is one such non-profit organization working with the mission of improving the quality of life of people with disabilities in the Middle Georgia region of the United States of America by supporting their personal development. Founded in the mid-20th century, this organization provides a supportive and independent living environment to people having disabilities such as down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, etc., in the community with a team of caring people. For those involved with employment in this organization, their payroll is managed in a modern way through the ADP Employee Self-Service Portal, paid directly to the bank account in the direct deposit process, and distributed Pay Stubs and W2s electronically.
